The Greek frappe is a drink that is slathered in foam and is created from instant coffee that was spray dried and is meant to be drunk cold. Although the frappe is incredibly popular in Greece, it is also well loved in many other countries.
However, when created in other countries, the frappe is slightly different. This is because in these other countries, such as the States for example, the instant coffee is typically freeze dried and therefore contains more flavor. Although being freeze-dried does prevent the foam from forming in the same manner as a Greek frappe.
