Do you have a special coffee mug? Coffee mugs mean different things to different people. For people who attach a sentimental value to their coffee mug, their mug brings out different emotions each time they drink their cup of coffee from it. Different cups I have in my possession now remind of people I grew up with and them laughing and drinking coffee around the table. Out of all the different eating and drinking utensils we have I think our individual coffee cups are probably one of our most important emotionally. First thing every morning when I pour my cup of coffee and I bring it up to my lips for that first sip I get a sense of calm and that all is right with the world. What a fantastic way to start out the day.
Coffee mugs can be large or small and made out of an assortment of different materials so originality or familiarity is just a cup away. Coffee lovers all around the world use different types of containers to hold their cups of coffee. Manufacturers use different materials to make different kinds of drinking utensils for holding scalding, steaming cups of coffee, and each has a personality of its own. Some people use the same coffee mug year after year, while others might change their mugs on a regular (or impulse) basis.
The most common material used to make a coffee is porcelain, followed by stainless steel, and plastic and glass. Porcelain and glass are the most common for household coffee drinkers, but so are the insulated mugs that can be easily carried wherever you go. Most of the insulated coffee mugs easily fit inside the special holders in vehicles, or hang on the window with a hook that allows for easy access.
Since most people feel incomplete without their first cup of coffee in the morning, a coffee mug takes on a special sense of importance to these kinds of people. Some people have either their names or their loved ones names embossed on their coffee mug, and prefer that nobody should touch it, much less using it. Coffee mugs come in all kinds of shapes and sizes, and imagination is the only limit to design.
You can also personalize your coffee mugs. Pictures of special times or of special people you can get them put on your mug or you can get a mug with your name printed directly on it, which will be a sure sign to everyone in the family that this is your mug it is not to be used by anyone for any reason. You could also think of the things you like the most or things that just make you happy, which is why many people drink coffee for the pure enjoyment of it.
You can get coffee mugs with a favorite character, movie, saying, or even a simple smiley face. You could also find coffee mugs in everyplace you visit. For example, if you take a vacation in

They’re also very easy to break, and most people don’t care to have hot coffee spilled all over them first thing in the morning, or any other time. Plastic coffee mugs are okay for most uses, but they don’t hold the heat in very long and coffee gets cold rather fast. A stainless steel mug or thermos mug does the trick in keeping coffee hot, sometimes scalding, but then you still have the same problem hanging onto it without burning your hands.
Most coffee mug designs however, are fitted with lids nowadays, and are made of insulated plastic that not only keeps that coffee piping hot, but also allows you to hold it without getting scorched fingers. The coffee stays hot for a very long time, allowing for sipping rather than hurried gulping. This type of mug is the most common these days, as it’s easy to take with you whether you’re driving, walking, or hurrying to and fro.
Most mugs hold at least two regular cups of coffee, or thereabouts, and no less. You’ve got to make it worth your while, don’t you, especially if you’re transporting it to work with you. If a person can carry a super sized cola drink, why not a super sized container of hot coffee? Go get your own personalized coffee mug and enjoy the morning cup of coffee with more pride.
